Google Wallet is an NFC payment system that allows you to make purchases with supported devices.
The idea behind Google Wallet is to allow you to pay for purchases using a supported device at participating businesses. Instead of pulling out a card or cash, you simply tap your device to a payment kiosk and the app automatically loads and allows you to pay through an app. Connected to your Google Play account, you can see your purchases and receipt on the device.
Using Google Wallet is easy, but the difficulty is finding a business that supports NFC payments. The other problem is many carriers block the use of the app so while you can download the app, you are not able to access it on your device.
Google Wallet is a great app, but is stunted by carriers.
